Claude Monet

Hi again :)
https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/a/a4/Claude_Monet_1899_Nadar_crop.jpgToday I want to talk about an artist that I admire, that is Claude Monet.
He was born in Paris in 1840, he is consider the most important representative of Impressionism, during his career he made about 3000 paintings. His main interest was to translate the chromatic-light vibration in the paintings, his favorites themes was the marine, river scenes and landscapes. He wanted to show the passage of time, so he made very fast strokes to capture the moment. The painting “Impression, rising sun” was wich gave the name to the movement.
In his famous series of nenuphars, Monet showed the 4 seasons of the year. In these paintings we can see how he painted, fast and accurate strokes and with a lot of paste. As he wanted to capture the precise moment, used much synthesis. I like him for his ability to build the elements only by spots and the use of color, looking closely we can see his technique and from afar in fact we see the nature scene like really is.
