Te pito te henua ♥

Iorana korua! :)
Today I want to share a photo of Ahu Nau Nau in Anakena beach of Easter Island.
This photo was taken for me in my visit to the island in February this year.

The "ahu" is a ceremonial platform where it was worshiped ancestors. The Ahu Nau Nau is one of the most important, Anakena was the place where the King Hotu Matu'a first landed with his entourage to populate the island. The ahu was restored in 1978 by Sergio Rapu and his team, he's the island’s first professional archaeologist.
I like this photo because this was the first time that I saw the moais... it's a little difficult put into words everything that I felt, but there was some much energy in that place, I felt life, like really was someone there. Stand in front of them make me felt also very small and insignificant, really is amazing to think how can built and transported them.
Look the moais and have the beach with warm turquoise waters and white sand behind them, was a wonderful postcard.
